Hexafluoropropylene

HFP, Hexafluoropropylene，also referred to as perfluoropropylene is used in form of monomer to copolymerize with other hydrocarbon of ethylene series among which the largest quantity is polyperfluoro ethylene-propylene (FEP) for component parts of electronic and electrical industries. The hexafluoropropylene, in copolymerization with vinylidene fluoride, can produce a series of polymer elastomer, widely used in pharmaceuticals, biological chemistry, food, electronics, fiber and other realms.

The Hexafluoropropylene oxide synthesized based on the hexafluoropropylene is on a scale of manufacturing. Under the influence of fluoride anion, newly generated hexafluoropropene oligomer can be used for further producing the surface active agent with fluoride.
